Tasty Tuesday is here, which means I’m unveiling my latest food experiment: dark chocolate coconut butter!
Dark chocolate coconut butter is essentially blended up coconut flakes with chocolate added in, and the result is a rich and satisfying coconutty chocolate spread perfect for toast, oatmeal, smoothies, or just about anything else you can think of. I originally got the idea from Heather’s blog and used the recipe from Beans Books and Cookies. Here’s my documentation of the delicious event.
Yum.
And voila! There you have it. Dark chocolate coconut butter. I hope you’ll give it a try sometime and let me know what you think.
Well, that’s all for today friends. Tomorrow will mark the return of Waffle Wendesday, so dust off your waffle maker ready and get ready to join the fun.
Until then, hope you have a great Tuesday!

Yum, indeed. Just made another batch this morning as CD and I go through at least one jar every few days. I love it…hope you enjoy some on your waffles tomorrow. :)
Wow! One jar every few days! I’m not that much of a connoiseur yet but it’s something to work toward. By the way Heather, I loved your maternity photos. They were so classy and adorable – very much like what I hope for when I become a mother. You and your husband are just a sweet pair and I look forward to seeing photos of your little one soon.
Enjoy your blog so much,
Dana
